We know that phrase "cleanliness is next to godliness", but I think cleanliness is next to happiness. I have been decluttering our back laundry/storage room and have felt a sense of happiness as the area gets cleaner. I'm happy that I can find things in that area. Happy that I can walk without tripping over stuff. Happy that the room is clearer, safer and more organized. Never underestimate the power of a clean room.
